The nanophotonics foundry nanoPHAB^® is a spin-off of the COBRA Research Institute at the Eindhoven University of Technology, in The Netherlands. Our mission is to provide academic and industrial SMEs with micro- and nanofabrication solutions for research, prototyping and production of advanced III-V, Silicon and Oxy-Nitrides photonics components and circuits. The technology platform of nanoPHAB^® can bring innovation in many fields:

• Photonic integrated circuits and optoelectronics
• Lighting and nanoscale photon sources
• Energy harvesting at the nanoscale
• Sensors MEMS, MOEMS and NOEMS
• Bio-photonics and medical applications

A summary of nanoPHAB^® 's vision:

• To act as a European Research and Innovation Foundry Center for the main above mentioned photonics areas and their related technologies
• To strengthen the competitive position of the Dutch and European communications, optoelectronics, medical and optical sensors related industry and research
• To enhance the technological network of the Eindhoven region as a brainport for advanced micro- and nanophotonics
