The nanophotonics foundry nanoPHAB® is a spin-off of the COBRA Research Institute at the Eindhoven University of Technology, in The Netherlands. Our mission is to provide academic and industrial SMEs with micro- and nanofabrication solutions for research, prototyping and production of advanced III-V, Silicon and Oxy-Nitrides photonics components and circuits. The technology platform of nanoPHAB® can bring innovation in many fields:

  • Photonic integrated circuits and optoelectronics
  • Lighting and nanoscale photon sources
  • Energy harvesting at the nanoscale
  • Sensors MEMS, MOEMS and NOEMS
  • Bio-photonics and medical applications

A summary of nanoPHAB® 's vision:

The 800 m2 cleanroom (ISO-class 6) of NanoLab@TU/e is at the disposal of nanoPHAB® with state-of-the-art equipment for epitaxial growth of III-V semiconductor nanostructures and micro/nanoprocessing and inspection of passive and active semicoductor devices.
